We are an Idaho non-profit organization focused on providing quality education in printmaking, book arts, and independent publishing. We provide affordable education and access to letterpress and book arts for individuals and organizations.

This is a well known sentiment in the letterpress community. Independent publishers and printmakers are idealistic, often embracing collaboration and sharing essential tools and resources. At Open Letter Press we extend this sense of solidarity to include those who don’t typically have access to printmaking. Our studio welcomes students, writers, activists, organizations (and anyone who has a desire to learn!) into the printshop, enabling them to create unique and important messages.
